TRAVEL SUPERMARKET

Challenge

Show Travel Supermarket as the best holiday booking website to purchase a gift for a loved one.

Insight

Gifting a holiday to someone isn’t something you can physically wrap up and give.

Big Idea

The campaign plays on the idea that gifting a holiday is like giving someone a riddle. It’s not a physical object you can wrap, but something to unravel, piece by piece.

LIVING ROOM – CHRISTMAS MORNING

The room is cozy, lit with twinkling Christmas lights. Wrapping paper is scattered across the floor. Two SIBLINGS (both around 23) kneel by the tree, reaching for the last gift. Their PARENTS sit on the couch, smiling knowingly.

SIBLING 1
(grinning)
The last one. This better be good.

They tear open the wrapping paper, revealing a box. They lift the lid- it's completely empty. Both siblings exchange confused looks and turn toward their parents.

SIBLING 2
Uh… thanks?

Suddenly, the MUM jumps up with excitement, clapping her hands together. She bursts into a sing-song riddle.

MUM
We leave on a Monday, but not till eight,
As we have to get a jet to somewhere before it’s too late.
We can eat some pizza, near the world's largest Amphitheater,
It’s somewhere warm, but not too sunny,
And if you haven’t guessed yet,
You’re going to Rome with your Mummy!

The siblings gasp, their confusion turning into shock and delight.

SIBLING 1
Wait… Rome?

MUM
(beaming)
Yes! Rome! We booked it with Travel Supermarket.

DAD
(leaning back into his chair, smugly says)
Obviously.
